ke of
the need for good communications. Since then I have revamped the website and
put in a number of new features. Among these is the photo gallery which rec=
ords
some of the people and activities over the last few years. However, it is
important to ensure that a website is dynamic and that it is continuously
changing to reflect the new activities within the Association.<span
style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>&nbsp; </span>I would welcome suggestions.<o:p><=
/o:p></span></i></p>

which you can communicate with me and with each other. I would hope that the
comments box will generate good debates. So far I have listed Genealogy, <s=

class=3DGramE>The</span> 2007 Gathering and the Power line from Beauly to D=
enny
which crosses the Battlefield of <span class=3DSpellE>Sherrifmuir</span>. It
would be good to have an ongoing debate through the website. In addition I =
have
put in a box where you can make short snappy comments. It is good to see
comments from <st1:country-region w:st=3D"on">Canada</st1:country-region> a=
nd
from <st1:country-region w:st=3D"on"><st1:place w:st=3D"on">Russia</st1:pla=
ce></st1:country-region>.
Incidentally, the website is picking up new members from across the world.<=

Council has adopted the policy that any current Newsletter will only be put=

the web when the next one comes out. I am trying also to put together an in=

of all the articles that have appeared in the Newsletters so that we have a=
 comprehensive
library of interesting articles.<o:p></o:p></span></i></p>

for this newsletter. Colin&#8217;s article on Cameron-Lovett throws light o=
n a
renowned but forgotten explorer and of course connects with his own role as
consul to <st1:place w:st=3D"on"><st1:country-region w:st=3D"on">Malawi</st=
1:country-region></st1:place>.
It is interesting too to hear Douglas&#8217;s story about scrambler bikes a=
nd
how his interest was kindled while serving in the RAF in <st1:country-region
w:st=3D"on"><st1:place w:st=3D"on">Egypt</st1:place></st1:country-region>. =
It was
good too to read about how much <span class=3DSpellE>Shona</span> gained fr=
om her
exchange to <st1:country-region w:st=3D"on">New Zealand</st1:country-region=
> and <st1:City
w:st=3D"on">Duncan</st1:City>&#8217;s visit to the <st1:place w:st=3D"on">S=
tone
 Mountain</st1:place> Games has certainly whetted my appetite. I am most
appreciative of all those who have contributed and as always welcome articl=
