CLAN CAMERON ASSOCIATION SCOTLAND
COUNCIL MEETING MARCH 21st 09 - HELD AT SYHA STIRLING
Council agreed :
1. That we advertise Shields for sale on website.
2. that Roddy should order 6 flags measuring 800 by 900 @ £32.00 + VAT each and red and gold bunting @ £30.00.
3. The President’s badge having been handed over it was agreed that the balance be paid with a letter of thanks to the silversmith..
4. That we attend the following games in 2009 : Inverness (18th July); Glenfinnan (15th August) and Braemar (5th September). The following we would omit this year: Arisaig (29th July) and Lochaber (25th July).
5. Arrangements for Culloden. Sonia would supply wreath, Rosemary would lay wreath, flowers at marker by John Cameron Nixon and at grave by Margaret Laurie. Lunch would be at Cawdor Tavern. Forbes Marr would carry banner. Astie would pipe. Musicians booked for the entertainment at lunch.
Alan & Elizabeth reported on the Bergues event.
Alan reported that the Spring Newsletter was ready for posting.
Chris reported that there were 10 new members.
Duncan reported that NE members had attended the Ellon Burns Supper
Finances: Balance at end of 2008 was £2609.21 with a balamce of £412.00 in the President’s Badge Fund. It was also noted that the fund to date was £2745.08
Date of next meeting: 13th June at 10.00 in the DCA or other Dundee venue. Roddy to arrange
