Thursday, 30th July:

11.00am -5.00pm Lochiel Estate (Achnacarry - B8005)

- Welcome to Achnacarry  (meet & greet with Cameron of Lochiel)

- Clan Cameron Museum open 10.00

- Historic Clan Cameron Walks

(Beech Avenue, Dark Mile and Glen Mailie)

Dress: Casual - Outdoor footwear & rainwear recommended

6:30pm: Informal meeting of clanspeople -

Moorings Hotel Banavie.

- Make your own plans  

(wear a piece of  Cameron tartan)

- no prior arrangements  

Dress - Casual

Friday, 31st July:

11.00am -5.00pm: Lochiel Estate (Achnacarry - B8005)

- Various Lectures, including:

- Poetry and Music of Clan Cameron

- Clan Cameron History & Heraldry

- Inverness Historical Society

- Clan Cameron Museum open

Dress: Casual -Outdoor footwear & rainwear recommended

7.00 pm: Clan Cameron Association Reception

at Nevis Centre (pre book ticets online)

Music wine & canapes, socialising

NB This reception is free

Dress: Tartan day wear/casual

 

Saturday, 1st August: Ticket cost £11.00 (You can buy online - see below)

10.00am - 5.00pm International Gathering of Clan Cameron (Lochiel Estate, Achnacarry - B8005)

- Meet the Chief                                                      - March past led by Lochaber School Pipe Band

- Falconry                                                                  - Highland Dancing

- The Quack Commandos                                        - Tug of War

- Kiddies’ Corner                                                     - Numerous stalls featuring local crafts/foodstuffs

Dedication of Cameron Clanspeople’s Oak Grove at 12.00

Dress: Tartan or casual - Outdoor footwear & rainwear recommended

7.30pm: Clan Cameron Ceilidh (Venue Marquee at Achnacarry)

- Music, song, dancing, stories etc

 Dress: Tartan or casual

Sunday, 2nd August:

11.00 am: Church Service (Non-Denominational) - St. Ciaran’s Church

(B8005 - about 200 metres past Achnacarry’s main gate)

Afternoon: Survivor’s BBQ - An Aird, Fort William (after shinty match)
